Barbara Baird
Barbara Baird is publisher and editor of The Women’s Outdoor News, http://womensoutdoornews.com, where she also writes a blog called “Babbs in the Woods.” She is a freelance writer in travel and outdoor genres, and pens a column called “Out West” for Turkey Country magazine and two columns for “Show Me Missouri.”
Her bylines have appeared in newspapers and magazines, such as St. Louis Post-Dispatch, NRA’s America’s First Freedom, SHOT Business and Fly Fisherman.
When not writing, Barbara might be found at her local shooting range, near Rolla, Mo., along with husband, Jason, teaching NRA pistol courses. She recently added concealed carry courses for women only, and a new weblog: http://sheshoots2.com. Barbara and Jason have four grown children and two lovely daughters-in-law.
